Fans of Gundam have something to look forward to in 2025. Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash 2, the sequel to the 2021 movie, is officially in production. The update was shared at the recent Shochiku Anniversary Event, exciting fans who have been waiting for more of Hathaway Noa’s story.

Hathaway’s Flash 2 Is Coming Soon

Bandai Namco confirmed the sequel to Hathaway’s Flash is underway. While no exact release date was given, Shochiku, which has worked with Bandai Namco on anime films for years, mentioned that Hathaway’s Flash 2 would be part of their 2025-2026 movie lineup. This means fans will likely see the movie next year or possibly even later this year.

The first Hathaway’s Flash film, released in 2021, followed Hathaway Noa, a new leader in the Gundam universe. The movie is set in the same world as the original Gundam story, focusing on the conflicts between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. It is available to stream on Netflix.
