Minecraft Villager Jobs Explained Simply

73
Minecraft

Minecraft villagers are important for players. They offer useful items through trading. Each villager has a different job, which determines what they sell.

You can find villagers in villages across the Minecraft world. Knowing their jobs helps you trade better and survive easier.

There are many villager jobs in Minecraft. Each job is linked to a special block called a job site block.

For example, a farmer uses a composter, and an armorer works near a blast furnace. When a villager stands close to a job site block, they take on that job.

Here are some common villager jobs:

Armorer trades armor and shields. Their job site is the blast furnace.

Butcher offers cooked meat and stew. They use the smoker.

Cartographer sells maps and banners. They use the cartography table.

Cleric trades magical items like Redstone and ender pearls. They work near a brewing stand.

Farmer sells food items like bread and cake. They use the composter.

Fisherman trades cooked fish and fishing rods. They use barrels.

Fletcher sells arrows and bows. They use the fletching table.

Leatherworker trades leather armor and saddles. They use a cauldron.

Librarian offers enchanted books, compasses, and clocks. Their job site is the lectern.

Mason trades bricks and stones. They use the stonecutter.

Shepherd sells wool, carpets, and paintings. They use a loom.

Toolsmith trades tools like pickaxes and shovels. They use the smithing table.

Weaponsmith offers swords and axes. They use the grindstone.

Some villagers do not have a job, called unemployed villagers. You can give them a job by placing the right job site block near them.

There is also a special villager called the Wandering Trader. They appear randomly and sell unique items. They travel with trader llamas and disappear after some time.

Villagers have levels, from Novice to Master. The higher their level, the better the items they offer.

Minecraft players can use villagers to get rare items, food, tools, and armor. Trading with villagers is key to success in the game.
