Metro Boomin has announced the release of a new mixtape titled A Futuristic Summa, set to arrive in July 2025. The project will include 20 brand-new tracks and is hosted by DJ Spinz, a well-known figure in hip-hop and trap music.

The mixtape marks a new direction for Metro Boomin, featuring an entirely new cast of artists. It will be released through his label Boominati in partnership with Republic Records and made available on streaming platforms and for digital download.

Promotional efforts for the mixtape have already begun, with social media teasers and billboard campaigns revealing the title and release window. Fans have expressed excitement about the fresh collaborations and sounds expected from the influential producer.

Metro Boomin has built a reputation as one of the leading names in hip-hop production, known for working with artists like Future, 21 Savage, and Travis Scott. His recent projects include We Still Don’t Trust You (2024) and music for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023). His production is known for blending atmospheric tones with heavy trap beats, and A Futuristic Summa is expected to continue that tradition with a modern twist.

The mixtape is also seen as a platform to introduce rising talent in the hip-hop scene. With DJ Spinz curating the tracklist, listeners can expect a high-energy and cohesive listening experience.

Metro Boomin has remained active in live performances throughout 2025, often previewing unreleased material. The release of A Futuristic Summa is likely to be supported by additional promotional activities, which could include singles, videos, and potential tour dates.
