Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team has dismissed the latest claims made by Tory Lanez and his supporters, calling them misleading and recycled from his 2022 trial. Lanez’s team recently launched a new website and released body-cam footage, attempting to shift blame for the 2020 shooting incident.
Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, responded directly, saying, “There was no new evidence displayed today—simply a sad attempt from Tory’s team to peddle misinformation.”
He criticized the inconsistent narrative from Lanez’s camp, pointing out that they first claimed Kelsey Harris shot Megan, and now suggest she only stepped on glass.
Spiro also condemned Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, who recently showed support for Lanez. He called her actions “embarrassing”, adding that she should focus on her own constituents instead of chasing headlines.

According to Megan’s team, the footage shared is not new and was already presented during trial, including Ring camera audio of five gunshots. They also cited Lanez’s text apology to Megan after the incident and his Instagram post stating that Kelsey Harris did not shoot Megan, both of which contradict his current defense.
DNA evidence used in court showed a 90% likelihood that male DNA on the firearm matched Lanez. Additionally, testimony revealed Lanez offered hush money to both Megan and Harris.
Megan’s team says they recently shared a full breakdown debunking false narratives and stand by the original conviction, calling the latest tactics by Lanez’s camp a “desperate” attempt to sway public opinion.
Meanwhile, Tory Lanez has been moved to a new prison in Northern California after surviving a recent stabbing incident. He is expected to fully recover.
