US and Israeli jets are pounding Tehran right now for the third straight day. The death toll has already smashed past 550 people across Iran.
Fresh explosions rocked the capital overnight. The Israeli Air Force says it now operates “extensively” over Tehran itself after wiping out Iranian air defenses. Targets include military sites, nuclear facilities and what Israel calls “terrorist regime” locations.
The civilian toll is brutal. Iran’s Red Crescent says 555 people are dead since Saturday. That includes 168 schoolgirls aged 7 to 12 killed at an elementary school in Minab. UNESCO slammed the strike as “a grave violation of humanitarian law.”
Internet has been completely blacked out across Iran for over 48 hours. State TV showed patients fleeing Tehran’s Gandhi Hospital after it took a direct hit. The full damage is impossible to verify.
Israel claims it killed 40 top Iranian commanders in coordinated strikes, including armed forces chief Abdolrahim Mousavi. Cyberattacks knocked out Iranian communications before the bombs fell, leaving Tehran blind.
Iran is hitting back hard. The Revolutionary Guard fired fresh missiles at US bases in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain overnight. Three American troops are confirmed dead in Kuwait. Trump admits more casualties are “likely.”
The war just doubled in size. Hezbollah joined the fight Sunday, firing rockets from Lebanon. Israel responded by blasting Beirut’s southern suburbs and killing Hezbollah’s parliamentary chief Mohammad Raad. At least 31 people are dead in Lebanon.
Markets are in freefall. Brent crude surged 8.8% to $82.37. Gold jumped 1.6%. Dow futures crashed 375 points at Monday’s open.
Iran refuses to talk. Top official Ali Larijani vowed “we will not negotiate with the United States.” The country is run by a temporary council after Khamenei’s killing, with nobody in charge and the bombs still falling.
