Major Red Dead Redemption 2 Elements Confirmed in GTA 6 Leak

A recent leak suggests that GTA 6 will bring back several popular features from Red Dead Redemption 2. The leak comes from a trusted source who previously revealed characters’ full names weeks before Rockstar Games confirmed them.

According to the leak, GTA 6 will include a “dead eye-like” mechanic, similar to RDR2’s gameplay. The main character, Jason, can slow down time and spot enemy weak points.

Another character, Lucia, has this ability too but can only use it for one shot. This difference highlights Jason’s superior shooting skills from his time in the army.

The game will also include a greet or antagonize system like RDR2. Instead of an honor meter, GTA 6 will use a relationship meter that shows how strong or weak Jason and Lucia’s bond is. This meter changes based on player choices.

The leak claims that RDR2’s gore and dismemberment system returns and is even expanded, though details are unclear. Additionally, GTA 6 will be divided into five chapters, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. All leaked footage so far comes from the first three chapters.

This information is unofficial and should be taken with caution. Rockstar Games has not commented on these leaks. GTA 6 is scheduled for release on May 26, 2026, for PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.
