macOS Sequoia 15.2 is set to roll out next week, bringing a range of exciting new features to your Mac.

New Features in macOS Sequoia 15.2
- Image Playground: A new app for creating fun images from your photo library using concepts, descriptions, and people. It supports multiple styles and syncs across all devices with iCloud.
- ChatGPT Support: Direct integration of ChatGPT from OpenAI in Siri and Writing Tools. You can compose from scratch or use Siri for relevant answers. No account is required, and all requests are anonymous.
- Writing Tools: You can now suggest rewrites in various formats, like poems, using natural language processing.
App and System Updates
- Photos: The Favorites album is now in the Utilities collection, and Recently Viewed and Recently Shared albums can be cleared.
- Safari: New customizable background images for the Start Page, HTTPS upgrade for security, and easier import/export for history, bookmarks, and passwords.
- Apple Music & TV: Natural language search allows you to find content by categories like genres, moods, actors, and decades.
- Podcasts: Access your favorite categories and curated collections with the new Personalized Search page.
- Weather: Current weather conditions are now accessible directly from the menu bar.
Additional Features
- Find My: Share the location of AirTags and other accessories securely with trusted third parties, like airlines.
- Sudoku: Available for News+ subscribers with three difficulty levels.
- Stocks: Pre-market price quotes for tracking NASDAQ and NYSE tickers.
- Presenter Preview: Choose to share either an app or your entire screen when using AirPlay or an external display.
Whatโs Missing
- Genmoji and the Mail app redesign, both part of iOS 18.2, wonโt be available on Mac yet. Theyโre expected in a future update, potentially macOS 15.3.
