Mac Mini M4 Gets a Mac Pro Makeover with ZEERA MacForge Enclosure

Apple’s Mac Mini M4 is a powerful yet compact computer, but there’s one design flaw: the power button is located on the bottom, making it hard to reach without lifting the device.

While this may not be an issue for users who mainly put their computer to sleep, those who prefer to power it off may find it inconvenient.

Fortunately, ZEERA’s MacForge enclosure offers a solution, along with a few other enhancements.

The MacForge enclosure is an aluminum case designed to give the Mac Mini M4 a Mac Pro-style makeover.

It features handles on top and a series of vent-like holes on the front and back, reminiscent of the cheese grater design of Apple’s Mac Pro systems.

This enclosure is marketed as a cooling case, as it positions the Mac Mini vertically, allowing the fan to be positioned sideways, improving air circulation and cooling efficiency.

One of the standout features of the MacForge case is the repositioned power button.

Since the original button is blocked by the case, ZEERA has added a small button on the side of the case that activates the power button when pressed.

The case is priced at $160, but it’s currently available for pre-order at $130, with shipping expected to begin on December 31, 2024.

While you could 3D print a similar case if you have the resources, the pre-built aluminum model offers a convenient, sleek solution for those looking to upgrade their Mac Mini setup.
