Lil Wayne will release his new album, Tha Carter VI, on June 6, 2025. This will be his first solo album since Funeral in 2020 and the sixth in his popular Tha Carter series.

The album will feature collaborations with big names like Nicki Minaj, Drake, Miley Cyrus, Young Thug, and more. It will launch under Young Money and Republic Records.

The album’s release comes close to the 17th anniversary of Tha Carter III, one of Lil Wayne’s most important albums. Producers such as Wheezy and Wyclef Jean worked on the new album, though Kanye West’s involvement may be limited due to recent controversies.

To celebrate the album and 20 years of the Tha Carter series, Lil Wayne will go on a big tour covering 35 cities across North America. The tour starts on the same day as the album release, June 6, with a special show at Madison Square Garden in New York.

After a break, the tour continues from July 30 in Bristow, Virginia, and visits cities like Toronto, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Dallas.

Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington will join Lil Wayne on all tour dates. Rising rapper NoCap will perform at select shows. Tickets will be available to fans starting with an artist presale on June 4.

General ticket sales open June 6 at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages are also available, offering special perks like early entry and exclusive gifts.

This tour marks a major milestone in Lil Wayne’s career, giving fans a chance to hear his new music and celebrate his long-lasting influence in hip-hop.
