Actor and producer Meagan Good is set to return to Lifetime as the lead in the upcoming thriller I’ll Never Let You Go, which premieres Saturday, August 16 at 8/7c. Good will play Emily Westover, a respected art gallery director whose life begins to unravel after a reckless affair with a mysterious Italian artist.
The film follows Emily’s struggle with loneliness after her daughter leaves for college. Seeking connection, she enters a brief but intense relationship with Carlo (played by Antonio Cupo), a passionate artist whose charm quickly turns dangerous. When Emily attempts to end the affair, Carlo begins to sabotage her life, putting her career, marriage, and personal safety at risk.
Thomas Cadrot co-stars as Tom, Emily’s husband, who is left to navigate the emotional fallout of her betrayal. Hana Destiny Huggins plays their daughter, Sophia.
Directed by Troy Scott and written by Alex Wright, the film is produced by Bruce Harvey for CMW Autumn Productions in partnership with Studio TF1 America. Meagan Good and Joey Plager serve as executive producers.
This marks another collaboration between Good and Lifetime. Her previous work with the network includes Death Saved My Life (2021), Buying Back My Daughter (2023), and Terry McMillan Presents: Forever. Good also recently completed a leading role in the Prime Video series Harlem, which ran from 2021 to 2025.
