The U.S. House Oversight Committee has released the full deposition video of billionaire Les Wexner, revealing hours of questioning about his past relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The nearly five-hour video was recorded on February 18, 2026, and released publicly on February 19.

Wexner, the founder of L Brands, repeatedly denied knowing about Epstein’s crimes. He told lawmakers he was “duped” by Epstein and described him as a “world-class con man.” Wexner also claimed Epstein deceived him financially and said their relationship ended around 2007 or 2008 after Epstein repaid $100 million.

During the deposition, Wexner said Epstein often claimed connections to powerful figures. He mentioned Epstein name-dropping wealthy clients and influential business leaders to build trust and prestige. Wexner insisted these claims helped Epstein gain credibility and influence.

Wexner strongly denied any involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities. He dismissed suggestions that he knew about abuse or misconduct. He also downplayed his personal connections to other high-profile individuals linked to Epstein.

One of the most talked-about moments came when Wexner’s lawyer was caught on a hot mic making a profanity-filled threat while advising him to keep answers brief. The comment quickly spread online and became a viral moment from the deposition.

Democratic lawmakers expressed skepticism about Wexner’s statements and questioned whether his claims were fully credible. Some pointed to inconsistencies in his testimony and the length of his financial and personal ties to Epstein.

Wexner has never been charged with any crime related to Epstein. However, the release of the full video has renewed public scrutiny of Epstein’s network and connections to wealthy and powerful figures.

The video release is part of ongoing transparency efforts linked to federal investigations and document releases. It has sparked widespread discussion as viewers examine Wexner’s testimony and his past relationship with Epstein.
