A woman has been arrested after several gunshots were fired at the Los Angeles home of global pop star Rihanna.

Police say the suspect, 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, was taken into custody shortly after the incident on Sunday afternoon. Authorities booked her on suspicion of attempted murder, and her bail has been set at $10.2 million.

The shooting happened around 1:20 p.m. on March 8 at Rihanna’s home in the Beverly Crest area of Los Angeles. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at the property.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect allegedly arrived in a white Tesla and fired seven to nine shots toward the house. At least four bullets struck the home or its front gate, police said.

Investigators believe the weapon used was an AR-15-style rifle, and several rifle casings were recovered at the scene.

Rihanna was inside the home at the time of the shooting. Her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their children also live at the property, though it is unclear who else was present during the incident. No injuries were reported.

Police later found the suspect’s vehicle about eight miles away in Sherman Oaks, which led officers to Ortiz and her arrest.

Authorities have not yet revealed a motive or any known connection between the suspect and Rihanna. The investigation is ongoing, and police say they are reviewing security footage and other evidence.
