Landman: Release Date, Cast & Trailer

Landman is a new series by Taylor Sheridan, set to premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

The series will be available with the first two episodes, followed by a new episode each Sunday thereafter.

Plot

Landman is set in the oil boomtowns of contemporary West Texas, exploring the lives of oil speculators and landmen, who acquire mineral rights and land rights in the hope of finding oil. The series is described as an “upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics”.

Production

The series began filming in Fort Worth, Texas, in February 2022, using real oil workers for authenticity. It is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions.
