Kendrick Lamar made a surprise appearance at Clipse’s concert at the Novo theater in Los Angeles, thrilling fans with a live debut of their new collaboration, Chains & Whips. The track is part of Clipse’s latest album, Let God Sort Em Out.

The Grammy-winning rapper joined Pusha T and Malice on stage, delivering hard-hitting verses that tackle systemic inequity and resilience. His style blended seamlessly with Clipse’s signature gritty sound, creating an unforgettable live moment.

Fresh from his sold-out GNX Tour, Lamar called Clipse “legends,” further igniting the 2,300-strong crowd. Fans captured the performance on their phones, and clips quickly flooded social media platforms like X. Many users called the set “historic” and “a hip-hop masterclass,” highlighting the trio’s chemistry.

Clipse, reunited after years apart, are touring to promote their first album since 2009, produced by Pharrell Williams. Lamar’s surprise performance underscored hip-hop’s enduring connections and his ability to command attention wherever he appears.

The tour continues, with fans eagerly speculating about more surprise guest appearances in future shows.
