Rapper Jim Jones recently spoke about his career and how he compares to hip-hop legend Nas. He appeared as a guest on Fat Joe and Jadakiss’ podcast, Joe & Jada, where they discussed many topics, including a viral Instagram video that compared Jim Jones to Nas.

Jones said he respects Nas a lot. He called Nas one of his idols when he was growing up. But as Jim Jones started his own career, he developed his own style and fan base. He pointed out that younger fans may not know much about Nas, since many are from a different generation.

The main topic of debate came when Jim Jones talked about his success. He asked people to look at Billboard charts and compare his commercial success to Nas. Jones said he believes he has been more successful than people give him credit for. He said he can compete with any rapper in both commercial and artistic ways.

Fat Joe and Jadakiss joined the conversation. Jadakiss said hip-hop should give more respect to the artists who came before. Jones compared rap battles to basketball games, saying he always tries to bring his best.

After the podcast, Jim Jones posted on Instagram that his goal was to stay relevant and successful, not just to start fights online. He said going viral is a useful tool in entertainment but it’s important to focus on the present.
