Gunna has covered up his YSL tattoo, fueling rumors of a fallout with Young Thug. The rapper recently shared new gym selfies, and fans quickly noticed the tattoo on his arm was replaced with a different design.
This change has added to speculation about his relationship with Young Thug, who was released from prison in October after serving over two years.
Both artists were arrested in 2022 in connection with a 56-count RICO case. Gunna accepted a plea deal later that year, which led some fans and peers to accuse him of cooperating with authorities. Gunna denies these claims, but the rumors persist.
Young Thug was asked about their relationship during an April interview with GQ. He responded simply, “I don’t know,” offering little clarity to fans.
Around the same time, Young Thug released a track with Future called “Money On Money,” which some believe contains a subtle jab at Gunna. Social media also noticed that YSL, the label they both share, removed Gunna from its accounts.
Popular commentator DJ Akademiks claimed Young Thug harbors strong resentment toward Gunna and wants him off the label. According to Akademiks, Young Thug even sent voice messages to industry peers criticizing Gunna.
The ongoing tension between the two rappers continues to draw attention as fans watch closely for signs of reconciliation or further conflict.
