iPhone SE 4 Rumors: A Budget iPhone 14 with USB-C & No Home Button?

Apple is set to announce the iPhone SE 4 next week, but for those who love compact phones, the news might be disappointing.

Rumors suggest the SE 4 will ditch its small form factor, Home Button, and Lightning port, adopting a 6.1-inch display—essentially becoming a budget version of the iPhone 14.

iPhone SE 4: A Bigger Change Than Expected

The iPhone SE has long been Apple’s affordable, nostalgia-driven option, retaining the classic iPhone 8-inspired design.

However, reports suggest the SE 4 will abandon its compact size in favor of a modern notched display, single camera lens, and USB-C port.

While this makes sense for keeping up with Apple’s ecosystem, it also ends the last remaining “small” iPhone option after the discontinuation of the iPhone 13 mini.

For those who loved the one-handed usability of smaller devices, this is a major shift. Apple’s decision is likely based on poor sales of compact models, as larger screens dominate consumer preferences.

Should You Buy the iPhone SE 3 Before It’s Gone?

With the iPhone SE 3 still available, this might be the last chance to grab a smaller iPhone with a Home Button. Once the SE 4 arrives, compact phones could become extinct in Apple’s lineup.

What do you think? Would you prefer the SE 4 as an iPhone 13 mini remake, or are you excited about a budget iPhone 14?
