iPhone SE 4, iPad 11, and iPad Air 7 Expected Release Timing Revealed by iOS 18.3 Leak

A recent leak tied to iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 has provided new insights into the potential launch timing of the highly anticipated iPhone SE 4, iPad 11, and iPad Air 7.

According to the leak, these upcoming devices will come preinstalled with the latest versions of iOS and iPadOS when they are released.

While an exact launch date remains unclear, the information suggests that Apple could unveil these devices by March or April 2025, before the release of iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4.

The leak, shared by a credible source with a history of accurate iOS information, includes the build numbers for iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 versions. The relevant build numbers are:

  • iOS 18.3 for iPhone SE (4th generation) (22D8062)
  • iPadOS 18.3 for iPad 11 and iPad Air (2025) (22D2060)
  • iPadOS 18.3 for iPad 11 and iPad Air (2025) (22D2062)

The final beta versions of iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 were seeded this week, with the official updates expected to be released next week for existing iPhone and iPad models.

In addition to the leaked software details, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has indicated that the new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models featuring the M4 chip could be announced before the other devices, possibly making them Apple’s first product launch of 2025.

As for the new devices themselves, the iPhone SE 4 is rumored to feature a design similar to the base iPhone 14 or iPhone 16, with a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, a USB-C port, a 48-megapixel rear camera, and a new A-series chip. It is also expected to include 8GB of RAM and Apple’s first 5G modem.

The iPad 11 is expected to be powered by the A17 Pro chip and 8GB of RAM, enabling enhanced Apple Intelligence features.

There have been mixed reports about whether the next iPad Air models will feature the M3 chip or the M4 chip found in the latest iPad Pro models, with recent leaks suggesting the former. Additionally, new Magic Keyboards are expected to be introduced for both the iPad 11 and iPad Air.

These leaks suggest that Apple’s spring 2025 lineup could bring significant updates to its iPhone and iPad offerings.
