iOS 26 Could Make Your Lock Screen Album Art Come Alive

Apple is expected to add a new visual feature to Apple Music in iOS 26. According to 9to5Mac, the update may bring full-screen animated album artwork to the Lock Screen.

Currently, when you play music, the Now Playing widget on the Lock Screen shows a large album cover that tints the background. This makes the music playback experience more immersive.

With iOS 26, this idea will go further. The album art could become animated and fill the entire Lock Screen. This would make album covers and other visuals more lively and engaging.

Apple plans to reveal iOS 26 features at its WWDC keynote on June 9. The event starts at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and will be livestreamed.

This update promises to bring more flair and personality to how users enjoy music on their iPhones.
