Apple is getting ready to launch iOS 26 at WWDC 2025, and while many users expect a fresh new look, several useful features are also coming to everyday apps.
Messages is getting smarter. Apple will introduce automatic translation for both incoming and outgoing texts. This will help users chat in different languages without needing a separate app.
Messages will also support polls, a feature long available on WhatsApp and Telegram. Apple is testing AI-powered suggestions for poll options based on your conversation.
Apple Music will get a visual upgrade. Album art will now animate full screen on the Lock Screen, making music playback feel more lively and modern.
In Apple Notes, users will finally be able to export notes in Markdown format. This feature is helpful for developers and writers who use Markdown to organize their work. Many third-party apps already offer this, but it’s the first time Apple Notes will support it natively.
CarPlay is also set to receive updates. Its interface will match the new design of iOS 26. While Apple hasn’t confirmed the full extent, users can expect a more modern look that fits with the overall system update.
WWDC 2025 starts on Monday, June 9, and Apple is expected to announce iOS 26 along with updates to macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and more.
While AI features may take a smaller role this year, the focus is clearly on design and practical improvements users will notice every day.
