Apple has released iOS 26.2, the latest software update for iPhones, introducing several new ways for users to customize their devices. The update focuses on Lock Screen personalization, notifications, and reminders.
One of the main changes is an expanded Liquid Glass slider for the Lock Screen clock. Users can now make the clock more transparent or more opaque than before, allowing for finer visual adjustments. The feature works with all font options, although clock size adjustments remain limited to the default font.
iOS 26.2 also adds a new screen flash option for notifications. Located in Settings under Accessibility → Audio & Visual → Flash for Alerts, this feature makes the entire display briefly light up when a notification arrives. It can be combined with the existing camera flash option for added visibility, offering a useful tool for those who are hard of hearing or prefer more noticeable alerts.
Another major addition is the ‘Urgent’ toggle in Apple’s Reminders app. This feature triggers an alarm on the Lock Screen when a time-based reminder is due. Users can choose between a ‘Snooze’ button or a new ‘Complete’ button, which stops the alarm and marks the task as done immediately.
iOS 26.2 is available now for compatible iPhones, giving users more ways to personalize their devices and manage alerts and reminders.
