Instagram Profile Grid Control Arriving Next Week

Instagram Profile Grid Customization

Instagram has confirmed that profile grid customization—the ability to rearrange posts on your profile—will officially begin rolling out next week.

This long-awaited feature gives users full control over how their posts appear, regardless of when they were published.

Alongside this, Instagram has started rolling out real-time Spotify song sharing in Notes. The feature lets users display what they’re currently listening to on Spotify through their Notes—temporary status updates above profile pictures in DMs.

Unlike regular music stickers, this automatically updates in real-time to reflect the user’s listening activity.

Both features are part of Instagram’s broader “Anyway” campaign, designed to help users feel less pressure when posting and encourage more creativity.

Instagram chief Adam Mosseri says the platform is also working on ways to test content privately before going public, aiming to build creators’ confidence.

With more Spotify integration, creative tools, and upcoming grid customization, Instagram is giving users more control over their online presence than ever before.
