Instagram now allows users to share their favourite moments from 2024 with a new collage feature for stories.
This update, available until the first week of January, lets you combine multiple pictures into a single story, creating a personalised recap to share with friends.
Previously, users could only make collages by resizing and arranging individual photos or using Instagramโs grid-based layout feature.
The new collage tool simplifies the process, making it easier to creatively showcase your highlights from the year.
Additional Year-End Features
Instagram has also introduced end-of-year-themed โAdd Yoursโ templates. These allow friends to respond to your story with their own recap, creating a fun and interactive way to reflect on the year.
Other festive additions include โNew Yearโ and โCountdownโ text effects, holiday-themed chat designs for DMs, and secret phrases like โhappy New Yearโ that trigger special visual effects.
These updates aim to enhance how users celebrate the end of 2024, offering creative ways to share memories and connect with others.
