Spanish Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos has set a new all-time viewership record on the platform, reaching an unprecedented 10.8 million concurrent viewers during his La Velada del Año V event on July 26, 2025.
The annual influencer boxing event, held at La Cartuja Stadium in Sevilla, Spain, surpassed Ibai’s previous record of 3.85 million viewers set in 2024, solidifying his dominance in livestreaming.
The fifth edition of La Velada del Año, which translates to “The Night of the Year,” featured a mix of boxing matches with popular streamers and influencers, alongside performances by major artists like Melendi and Los del Río.

Ibai, a former esports commentator and co-founder of the KOI esports team, has consistently broken Twitch records with his boxing events since 2021. His 2022, 2023, and 2024 La Velada events hold the next highest viewership records, with 3.3 million, 3.4 million, and 3.85 million viewers, respectively.
