HYBE Accused of “Targeting” NJZ (NewJeans) After Latest Announcement

Just hours after NJZ (formerly NewJeans) announced their rebrand and upcoming ComplexCon Hong Kong performance, HYBE made a major announcement—LE SSERAFIM will make a comeback in March 2025.

The timing of this news has sparked backlash from fans, with many accusing HYBE of trying to shift attention away from NJZ.

The speculation stems from ongoing legal disputes between NJZ and their former label, ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE.

NJZ alleges mismanagement and mistreatment, while ADOR insists that their exclusive contracts remain valid.

The conflict has also involved ADOR’s former CEO, Min Hee Jin, who has specifically referenced LE SSERAFIM in past legal statements.

While some see HYBE’s announcement as a simple coincidence, others believe it’s a deliberate move to overshadow NJZ’s rebrand and upcoming projects.

As tensions between NJZ and HYBE continue, fans are watching closely to see how both sides proceed.
