Huawei’s upcoming Mate 70 series flagship smartphones are set to debut in Q4 2024 with several notable improvements.
The lineup is expected to feature China-developed image sensors, including the OV50H for the standard Mate 70 and the larger 1/1.3-inch OV50K sensor for the premium Mate 70 Pro.
The OV50K sensor supports LOFIC technology, which enhances low-light image quality by reducing noise and improving detail. Additionally, the Mate 70 series is rumored to debut a new Kirin SoC capable of scoring over 1 million points on AnTuTu, positioning it among the most powerful mobile processors.
The Mate 70 Pro is expected to retain the triple punch-hole display design introduced with the Mate 60 Pro. Importantly, the Mate 70 series will be the first Huawei devices to ship with the stable HarmonyOS NEXT version pre-installed.
Overall, the Huawei Mate 70 lineup promises to be a significant upgrade, focusing on camera performance, processing power, and software experience.
