- Send the Link:
- Choose the contact you want to invite and send the link.
Step 4: Joining the Call as an Android User
- Receive the Link:
- The Android user will receive the FaceTime link via the chosen method.
- Open the Link:
- The recipient should click on the link, which will open in their default web browser (preferably Chrome or Edge).
- Grant Permissions:

Step 5: Accepting the Call as an iPhone User

- Accept the Request:
- When you see that someone is waiting to join, tap the green checkmark to accept them into the call.
Step 6: Enjoy Your Call
- Once both users are connected, you can start your FaceTime call.
- Note that while iPhone users can use all features like Memoji stickers and filters, Android users will have a more basic experience without these extras.
Important Notes
- Android users cannot initiate FaceTime calls; they can only join calls initiated by iPhone users.
- Ensure both parties have a stable internet connection for optimal call quality.
- After finishing, either party can simply hang up as usual.
This process allows for seamless communication between iPhone and Android users, bridging a long-standing gap in video calling capabilities.
