Halle Bailey and DDG

Halle Bailey and rapper DDG’s breakup has led to a very public and emotional custody battle over their son, Halo. Since their split in late 2024, the two have exchanged serious accusations, including claims of abuse, mental health concerns, and legal actions.

The situation has drawn widespread media attention as both parents fight for custody and try to protect their image.

Their Relationship and Child

Halle Bailey and DDG started dating in 2022. They welcomed their son, Halo, in December 2023. The couple broke up in October 2024 after nearly three years together.

Halle Bailey’s Allegations and Court Orders

In May 2025, Halle was granted temporary sole legal and physical custody of Halo. She also received a restraining order against DDG, which requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from her and their son.

Halle accused DDG of physical and emotional abuse. She said that during one incident in January 2025, he slammed her face against a steering wheel, leaving her with a chipped tooth and bruises. She also accused him of harassment and controlling behavior.

DDG’s Response and Claims

In June 2025, DDG filed a legal motion to stop Halle from taking their son on a work trip to Italy. He said the travel posed an emotional and psychological risk to the child.

DDG accused Halle of being mentally unstable. He claimed she once took his gun while pregnant and threatened to harm herself. He also shared text messages that he said showed signs of suicidal thoughts.

DDG requested sole custody and a restraining order against Halle, saying she abused him, stalked him, and used her social media to damage his reputation.

Halle’s Legal Requests

Halle denied DDG’s claims and said he had been abusive and entered her home without permission. She asked the court to:

  • Stop DDG from taking Halo on trips without her written consent
  • Block him from getting travel documents for their son
  • Keep all visitation under supervision

The court allowed DDG supervised visits once a week for six hours in Los Angeles. He cannot take Halo outside of Los Angeles County without court approval.

Current Status

The custody case is still ongoing. So far, the court has given temporary custody to Halle and issued restraining orders against DDG. He continues to push for custody and travel restrictions on Halle.

The case highlights serious concerns about child safety, abuse allegations, and co-parenting challenges between celebrities.

Summary

Halle Bailey and DDG’s custody dispute over their son Halo is filled with legal actions, emotional claims, and ongoing court decisions. With each side accusing the other of serious wrongdoing, the case remains complicated and unresolved.
