Hack Warning Cyberattack

A new form of clickjacking is making waves online, and it could put your accounts at risk.

Known as double-clickjacking, this method exploits the double-click action to bypass security protections, potentially disabling your account settings or even taking over your accounts.

What is Double-Clickjacking? Double-clickjacking is a variation of the classic clickjacking attack, where hackers manipulate your clicks to perform malicious actions on another website.

Now, attackers are using a second click to gain unauthorized access. The attack often starts with a phishing site that asks you to double-click a CAPTCHA button.

Between your two clicks, a malicious page is loaded in the background, allowing hackers to steal your data, authorize transactions, or change account settings.

How to Stay Safe

  • Be cautious where you click: Always think before clicking on links or buttons, especially on suspicious websites.
  • Use antivirus software: Keep your devices secure with trusted antivirus software.
  • Avoid suspicious sites: Stay away from “too good to be true” giveaways and phishing sites.
