Grand Theft Auto 6 — GTA VI

Fans of Grand Theft Auto 6 were hoping for a major announcement today, December 20, 2024, expecting the release of the second trailer for the highly anticipated game.

However, Rockstar Games’ latest post on X (formerly Twitter) was about the GTA Online Christmas Update, leaving many fans disappointed.

The update introduced holiday-themed events in GTA Online, which will run until January 1, 2025. Despite the festive content, fans had hoped for something related to GTA 6, especially after months of speculation.

One fan, @billsyliamgta, expressed their frustration, stating, “Chat this seals the deal. Trailer 2 is next year.” Other fans, like @GTABase, also seem to believe that the second trailer for GTA 6 might not be coming this year.

Popular GTA YouTuber TGG shared their disappointment with the post, saying, “My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.” Fans flooded the comments with similar reactions, expressing their eagerness for GTA 6 updates.

Rockstar Games has been tight-lipped about GTA 6, with only one trailer released so far, more than a year ago.

While fans had hoped for new screenshots or a trailer, nothing has been revealed yet. The game’s release window is set for Fall 2025, so fans are still holding out hope for an upcoming trailer.

In the meantime, the GTA Online Christmas Update is live, offering holiday-themed events and the recently released Agents of Sabotage DLC.

This DLC includes new missions, cars, and content, keeping GTA Online players engaged while they wait for more news on GTA 6.
