Although Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive have not announced the official price for Grand Theft Auto VI, fans are already talking about a possible $100 price tag. With the game set to launch on May 26, 2026, many expect it to be the biggest release in years.

Some gamers are worried that the price for GTA 6 will be very high. Other companies like Microsoft and Nintendo have recently raised prices for their new games, with some AAA titles already costing around $80. This has made fans wonder if $100 for GTA 6 is realistic.

On Reddit’s r/GTA, one user asked if people would pay $100 for the game. The question sparked many different opinions. Some users said they would wait for big sales instead of paying full price. One fan wrote, “I don’t even pay $60-$70 now. I have no problem waiting for big discounts.”

But others think the price is fair, given the time and budget spent on the game. One user said, “HELL YES. The only game worth that much. The budget and time spent… a DECADE! I’ll pay $100 and even more for the Collector’s Edition.”

The debate shows that fans are split on whether GTA 6’s rumored $100 price is worth it. Only time will tell what Rockstar and Take-Two decide.
