Steven Ogg, the voice of Trevor in Grand Theft Auto 5, says he’d love to return for GTA 6—but only if his character is brutally killed.
In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Ogg said he’d be open to reprising his role as Trevor, but only for a dramatic send-off.
“It would be fun if Trevor appeared in it just to be killed at the beginning,” he said. “Pass the torch, stomp Trevor’s head in, and allow a new generation to take over.”
Despite his enthusiasm, Ogg confirmed that Rockstar Games hasn’t contacted him, making it unlikely that Trevor will return in GTA 6.
The upcoming game will introduce new protagonists, Lucia and Jason, in a Bonnie & Clyde-inspired crime story set in Vice City.
Meanwhile, speculation continues about GTA 6‘s price. Some reports suggest it could cost $100, but industry experts believe that’s unlikely.
Analyst Rhy Elliot explained that Rockstar’s focus should be on convincing players to switch from GTA 5’s online mode, rather than risking backlash with a high price.
Fans are also eagerly awaiting a second trailer, which could drop this week. GTA 6 is set to launch later this year, but Rockstar has yet to announce an exact release date
