Google Pixel 9A Leaks

Google is pushing up the release of its next A-Series phone, the Pixel 9a, which is expected to be unveiled on March 19, with shipping and availability starting on March 26.

Launch Timing and Pre-Orders

Following a trend from last year, the Pixel 9a’s pre-orders will kick off on March 19, while the phone will begin shipping and hit store shelves a week later, on March 26.

Hardware Details and Software

Though details on the hardware are mostly known, it’s uncertain if any new software features will debut alongside the device.

The previous year’s Pixel 8a included updates like Audio Emoji, but significant new software innovations are not anticipated.

This shift in timing seems aligned with Google’s strategy to separate its A-Series and flagship launches.

The Pixel 9a release fits into the company’s new rhythm, expected to help balance announcements with upcoming Google I/O 2025 events.
