Google Cloud and Spotify were hit by a major outage on Thursday, leaving tens of thousands of users unable to access services.

According to Downdetector, more than 13,000 people reported issues with Google Cloud, while Spotify saw over 27,000 reports around 2:26 p.m. ET.

Both Google and Spotify have not yet commented on the cause of the outage.

Downdetector collects user-submitted reports to track real-time outages, but the actual number of affected users may be higher.

The outage affected Spotify’s music streaming and services relying on Google Cloud, impacting businesses and individual users alike.

More updates are expected once the companies release official statements.
