Ghislaine Maxwell, the former associate of Jeffrey Epstein, has said that the widely discussed “client list” does not exist.
In an interview with US officials in July, Maxwell rejected one of the biggest claims tied to the Epstein case. The released transcript shows her saying, “There is no list,” despite years of speculation.
Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking, also denied that she ever saw Donald Trump or former President Bill Clinton act inappropriately around Epstein. She described Trump as “a gentleman in all respects” and said she never saw him in any questionable situations.
She also defended Prince Andrew, calling allegations that he had sex with an underage girl at her home “mind-blowingly not conceivable.” Maxwell further claimed that a widely circulated photo of Prince Andrew with his accuser, with her in the background, was fake.
The transcripts, nearly 300 pages long, include discussions about several high-profile figures such as Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Naomi Campbell, Kevin Spacey, and Robert F Kennedy Jr. Maxwell insisted she did not introduce these people to Epstein.
Epstein died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Maxwell told investigators that she does not believe he killed himself, but also dismissed theories that he was murdered.
Maxwell is appealing her conviction at the US Supreme Court and has asked for a presidential pardon, though the White House has said no leniency will be given.
