Despite a year of underwhelming releases, fans are eager for the return of these beloved series. Here are seven games players want to see make a comeback in 2025.

1. Jak and Daxter
This classic platformer duo has been absent since 2009. Fans are still hoping for a new adventure for Jak and Daxter, as the franchise continues to hold a special place in the hearts of platforming enthusiasts.

2. Rayman
Rayman Legends was the last main entry in this series, released in 2013. Though spinoffs have kept the franchise alive, fans are eager for a return to the original games, with rumors suggesting it could happen soon.

3. Sly Cooper
The last Sly Cooper game, Thieves in Time, came out in 2013. Since then, fans have been waiting for a new installment of this stealthy raccoon and his daring heists. Despite rumors of TV adaptations, a new game is what fans are truly craving.

4. Half-Life
After Half-Life: Alyx in 2020, fans are ready for a traditional first-person shooter entry. Many gamers are still waiting for the next chapter in the Half-Life series, hoping for a return to its classic FPS roots.
