Samsung might release a budget-friendly foldable phone called the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Rumors suggest it will have a flip design but at a lower price than Samsung’s other foldable phones.
The design could be similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Reports say its dimensions in the folded state might be 84.9 x 71.9 x 15.9 mm. When unfolded, it could measure 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm.
The Z Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its cover screen is a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED with 60Hz. The Z Flip FE might feature simpler displays to cut costs.
Leaks say the Z Flip FE may have either the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 or Exynos 2400 chipset. This could match the performance of the Galaxy S24.
Other details like the camera, battery, and storage remain unknown. Samsung might announce these as the launch date gets closer.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE could launch next year. It may arrive with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7, or after them.
Pricing is unclear, but reports suggest it could cost under $900. This makes it one of Samsungโs cheapest foldable options yet.
