Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in the US on May 30, 2025, just weeks after its debut in South Korea on May 13.
According to a recent report, the device will be revealed through an online event rather than a traditional Unpacked launch.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be priced between $1,099 and $1,199 in the US, making it one of Samsung’s more premium offerings this year.
In South Korea, the phone will retail for 1.5 to 1.63 million KRW, with pre-orders running from May 14 to 20 and full sales beginning on May 23 in South Korea and China.
The S25 Edge was first shown alongside the Galaxy S25 series at Galaxy Unpacked in January, and it later appeared at Mobile World Congress in March.
Its standout feature? A super-slim body designed to compete directly with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air.
What to Expect from the Galaxy S25 Edge
The Galaxy S25 Edge is Samsung’s slimmest flagship yet at just 5.84mm thick. It boasts a titanium frame and ceramic back for a sleek but durable design. Its 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate puts it on par with the S25 Plus in display quality.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage, running One UI 7 on Android 15.
For photography, the S25 Edge includes a 200MP main camera and either a 12MP or 50MP ultrawide lens. It leaves out a telephoto sensor to stay slim. On the front, users will find a 12MP selfie camera.
Samsung is positioning the Galaxy S25 Edge as a bold step forward in design, aiming to spark excitement ahead of Apple’s expected iPhone 17 Air launch in September.
