Metro Boomin is turning up the heat this summer with his new mixtape A Futuristic Summa, teasing an exciting blend of past and present with a standout feature list. Though the exact release date is still under wraps, the St. Louis-born superproducer has already revealed some big names — and surprising ones too.

The project includes frequent collaborators like Future, Quavo, Lil Baby, and 2 Chainz, but it’s the inclusion of Southern rap legends that’s sparking the most buzz. Fans can expect appearances from T.I., Waka Flocka Flame, Young Dro, Travis Porter, Rocko, JMoney, BunnaB, Meany of Shop Boyz, Rich Kidz, and YK Niece.

Metro has described the tape as featuring an “all new cast,” though not every artist is a first-time collaborator. Still, the lineup mixes nostalgia with fresh energy, leaning heavily on the Atlanta sound that helped shape his career.

The mixtape’s lead single, “Slide” featuring Roscoe Dash, has already dropped, giving fans a taste of the upbeat, futuristic vibe Metro hinted at. The track blends classic party vibes with slick modern production — a signal of what’s to come.

Though no official release time has been confirmed, A Futuristic Summa is expected to arrive any time this week. With more guest features likely to be revealed in the coming days, anticipation is building fast.

Fans on social media are eagerly guessing what other names might appear. Metro Boomin’s recent tweets suggest more surprises are in store, and given his track record, expectations are high.
