Marvel has updated its release schedule for 2026, revealing four new projects for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), alongside previously announced films and series.

The updates were revealed at New York Comic Con, confirming new Disney Plus projects for next year. The live-action series Wonder Man has been delayed to January 2026, having previously been scheduled for late 2025.

The second season of the animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will debut in Fall 2026, following the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Daredevil will return as part of this season.

The second season of X-Men ‘97 is set for Summer 2026, with a third season also confirmed for development. This series is expected to include more connections to the wider MCU.

Finally, VisionQuest, featuring Paul Bettany as Vision and James Spader as Ultron, will be released on Disney Plus in 2026. The show is anticipated to be one of the year’s biggest MCU live-action releases on the platform.

These projects join the second season of Daredevil: Born Again and a special presentation for Punisher, featuring Jon Bernthal’s return as Frank Castle, linking his past TV appearances to the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
