Two food influencers were injured when an SUV crashed into a Houston restaurant on 18 August 2025.
Nina Santiago, known online as NinaUnrated, and Patrick Blackwood were filming a food review at CuVee’s Culinary Creations when the vehicle smashed through a glass wall and struck their table. The crash was caught on video, showing glass shattering as diners scrambled to safety.
Both Santiago and Blackwood suffered cuts and bruises. They were treated at a hospital and are expected to recover. Santiago later wrote on Instagram, “I’m beyond grateful to be alive after an SUV crashed through the glass wall at Cuvee’s Culinary Creations.” Blackwood added, “Grateful to see another day,” saying the accident gave him a new outlook.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at 2712 Eldridge Parkway. The restaurant’s owner confirmed the crash, telling TMZ he was nearby when it happened.
Police said the driver showed no signs of impairment and called the incident a “freak accident.” The driver was unharmed but will be held responsible for damages, according to the restaurant.
Chef Ivory Watkins, who runs CuVee’s Culinary Creations, posted on Instagram, “It was a crazy weekend at Cuvees. We’re just thanking God everyone is safe!”
The video has gone viral on Instagram and TikTok, drawing millions of views and sparking debates about restaurant safety. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
