Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign, whose real name is Maxie Lee Ryles III, was released from a New Jersey jail on August 4, 2025, after serving six months.
He pleaded guilty to third-degree terroristic threats related to an incident on New Year’s Day in Edgewater, NJ.
Fivio was accused of pointing a gun at a woman who asked for help jumpstarting her car. He reportedly said, “If I see you parked in front of this building again, there is going to be a f****** problem.”
He faced five charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault, but these were dropped as part of a plea deal.
As part of his sentence, Fivio will serve three years of probation. His lawyer, Adam Lustberg, said the time he already served was taken into account during sentencing.
Fans celebrated Fivio’s release on social media. He posted on X, saying, “Yall out here doing anything.. I like it 😂,” showing he is in good spirits.
