Euphoria star Hunter Schafer was arrested in New York City during a pro-Palestinian protest at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Monday, July 29, 2025. The demonstration took place while President Joe Biden appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Schafer joined a group organized by Jewish Voice for Peace, which called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and demanded that the U.S. stop supporting Israel’s military actions. Protesters accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza and urged Biden to act.
Schafer wore a “Ceasefire Now” T-shirt and held protest banners during the demonstration. Police arrested about 50 protesters, including Schafer. Most were charged with trespassing or disorderly conduct and later released with summonses.
The protest aimed to disrupt Biden’s appearance and draw attention to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Schafer’s involvement confirms her public support for Palestinian rights and opposition to the war.
