Dylan Efron performed a touching tribute on Tuesday’s episode of Dancing With the Stars. He danced with his 5-year-old sister, Olivia Efron, and honored his older brother, actor Zac Efron.
The performance featured the song “Rewrite the Stars” from The Greatest Showman, which starred Zac Efron. Olivia, dressed in a white gown, walked across the stage to join Dylan for a short routine. The audience applauded warmly.
After Olivia returned to the audience, Dylan and his partner, Daniella Karagach, continued with a high-energy dance. The routine included lifts and impressive moves.
The judges praised the performance. Dylan received a score of 36 out of 40. Judge Bruno Tonioli called Dylan “the next greatest showman” and praised Olivia as a “prima ballerina.”
Dylan shared that the moment was special because of his close bond with Olivia. He said in a prerehearsal video, “I wasn’t expecting to be a big brother. She’s 5, and I’m 33. She’s everything to me.”
Olivia also shared her feelings, saying, “I just like being with Dylan. He’s my best friend, and I just feel like I’m free with him.”
Dylan posted a montage on Instagram showing him and Olivia dancing together. In the video, Olivia says she loves her older brother “very much.”
