Rapper Drake has been announced as the headliner for all three nights of the 2025 Wireless Festival. This will be his first UK performance in six years, and he is set to perform a special set each night. Wireless, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, will take place at Finsbury Park in London from July 11 to 13.
Alongside Drake, other confirmed artists for the festival include Burna Boy, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Summer Walker, and Vybz Kartel. Burna Boy will make his Wireless debut on Sunday, while PARTYNEXTDOOR will perform on the first day alongside Summer Walker.
Drake’s announcement has brought attention to his ongoing rap feud with Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick, who will be in the UK for his own tour, is scheduled to perform in Birmingham the night before Drake’s first Wireless set.
Their feud, which started years ago, has flared up again with Kendrick’s recent Grammy-winning song criticizing Drake.
Mixed Reactions from Fans
While many fans are excited about seeing Drake headline all three nights, some are disappointed by the lack of UK artists in the lineup.
Rehea Shillingford, a music fan, shared that she would have liked to see British artists like Dave or J Hus headlining instead. Megaman from So Solid Crew also expressed his concerns, saying Wireless should feature more UK talent.
The festival has promised to announce more acts soon. Tickets for the event go on sale February 19 at 12:00 GMT.
