Drake has revealed that he lost over $8 million in sports bets in the past month. The rapper shared the news on his Instagram Story on June 18, 2025, posting a screenshot that showed he had placed nearly $125 million in bets over the last four weeks, ending with losses of more than $8.2 million.

Known for his love of high-stakes betting, Drake often shares his gambling journey with fans. He is also a brand ambassador for the crypto betting platform Stake. In recent weeks, he placed bets on major sporting events like NBA playoff games, NHL playoff matches, and even a $750,000 bet on the IPL cricket final.

Despite the heavy losses, Drake stayed positive. “Gotta share the other side of gambling,” he wrote. “Losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon.”

Drake’s gambling losses have reignited conversations about the risks of celebrity betting. Fans also joked about the return of the “Drake Curse,” a long-running meme claiming that teams or players he supports often lose. Even after losing over $8 million, Drake still had $800,000 riding on Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals.

Drake’s openness about his gambling habits continues to spark mixed reactions online, with some praising his honesty while others express concern over the influence of celebrity betting.
