Don Toliver has officially announced his fifth studio album, OCTANE, set to release on January 30, 2026. The project follows 2024’s Hardstone Psycho and marks a new creative direction for the Houston artist.
Toliver confirmed the album on January 22 with a black-and-white cinematic trailer. The video teased a darker, sci-fi tone and introduced what he described as a “new frequency” for this era.
The rollout has been closely tied to Toliver’s car-inspired branding. The album title first appeared on exclusive merchandise at ComplexCon 2025, where he also unveiled his “Board Flip” sneaker collaboration.
A dedicated Instagram page, @octanemountain, has been sharing visuals of fast cars and empty landscapes. Musically, OCTANE is expected to move away from rock elements and return to Toliver’s spacey trap sound with faster, energetic production.
Many features and collaborations are rumored but not confirmed. Fans expect possible appearances from Travis Scott, Kali Uchis, SoFaygo, and The Weeknd based on industry buzz and fan speculation.
Production credits may include Mike Dean, Cardo, and Metro Boomin. A sample from Malcolm Todd’s “Chest Pain” appears in the album’s announcement trailer.
Fans can pre-order physical editions, including vinyl and apparel box sets. Don Toliver will support the album with major performances in 2026, including Rolling Loud Orlando, SXSW, and Germany’s Splash! Festival.
