The United States Department of Justice has released additional documents from the Jeffrey Epstein case, including FBI interview summaries that mention Donald Trump.
The documents were published on March 5, 2026 as part of a wider transparency effort around Epstein-related files. Officials said the pages were accidentally left out of earlier releases in January after being mistakenly marked as duplicate documents during the review process.
The newly posted files include summaries of FBI 302 reports, which are notes taken by agents during interviews. In this case, they describe statements from a woman who spoke to investigators in 2019 after Epstein’s arrest.
In the interview, the woman — whose identity is redacted — claimed she was introduced to Trump by Epstein in the 1980s when she was a teenager. She alleged that Trump sexually assaulted her at a location described as a tall building in either New York or New Jersey.
The FBI reports present these claims as the woman’s statements. They note that the allegations remain uncorroborated and that no criminal charges related to the claims were ever filed.
Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing or involvement in Epstein’s crimes. Supporters and officials close to him have described the claims as baseless and politically motivated.
The release of the documents has sparked political debate in Washington. Some Democrats had accused the Justice Department of withholding pages that mentioned Trump, while the department said the omission was simply an error.
The DOJ said documents in the Epstein archive can be withheld for reasons such as victim privacy, duplicates, or ongoing investigations, but not for political or reputational reasons. The newly released files are now available through the department’s online Epstein records portal.
