Diddy Trial Update: Witness Says He Held Her Over 17th-Floor Balcony and Threatened to Kill Her

The sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs continued on Wednesday in Manhattan. Two new witnesses testified, including a forensic video expert and a woman who says Diddy held her over a 17th-floor balcony.

Bryana Bongolan, a friend of Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, said the incident happened in 2016. She told the court that Diddy picked her up by her armpits and held her over the edge of a balcony while shouting at her. She said she didn’t know why he was angry.

Bongolan said her feet were hanging in the air for about 10 to 15 seconds before Diddy threw her onto furniture. She said the attack left her with bruises and neck pain and caused “night terrors.” Photos of her injuries were shown to the jury.

Bongolan also said Diddy once threatened her at the beach. “He got close to my face and said, ‘I’m the devil and I could kill you,’” she testified. She believed he had taken cocaine at the time. She also said she saw Diddy throw a knife at Ventura once and saw Ventura with black eyes several times.

She admitted that both she and Ventura often took drugs like ecstasy, cocaine, and ketamine. The defense used this point to question her memory and credibility.

A forensic video expert named Frank Piazza also testified. He confirmed that a video showing Diddy attacking Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 had not been altered. The video shows Diddy kicking and dragging Ventura near an elevator. Prosecutors say she was trying to leave a forced sex party, or “freak off,” at the time.

Ten sex videos involving Ventura were also submitted into evidence. They were recovered from a laptop under the name “Frank Black,” one of Diddy’s known aliases. These videos are sealed and only the jury can view them.

Another accuser, known only as “Jane”, is expected to testify next. She also claims Diddy forced her to join “freak offs.” Her testimony is expected to take several days.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to five federal charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
