Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly made a threatening call to his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura while she was partying at a gay club with British singer Rita Ora, according to court testimony. The incident, which happened around 2013, was described by their longtime stylist, Deonte Nash.
Nash testified that Diddy called Ventura on speakerphone during the night out and told her she “better bring her ass to his house.” The call made Ventura visibly anxious, and she left the club immediately.
This moment is just one of many disturbing stories shared during Diddy’s ongoing sex-trafficking trial in 2025. Several witnesses, including Cassie’s friends and former colleagues, described Diddy as controlling, angry, and physically abusive.

Cassie’s friend Tiffany Red recalled times when Diddy would scream at Ventura for being out in public and accuse her of being with other men. Another witness, singer Dawn Richard, said she saw Diddy hit Ventura and heard him threaten to kill her if she ever spoke about the abuse. Richard also said Diddy warned witnesses they could “go missing” if they told anyone what happened.
In her own court testimony, Ventura said Diddy would sometimes become someone else—his eyes would “just go black,” and he would erupt in violence. She described being thrown to the ground in a hotel and controlled in daily life, including how she looked and spoke.
These chilling details add to a growing body of evidence that paints a picture of long-term emotional and physical abuse. The court case continues as more testimonies are expected.
